Why does 'blind love' only last for a while?

isn't it amazing.. how a couple can get together in spite of great differences in personality/interest/whatever... ("hey! opposites attract u noe!") then split coz of the same reasons they got together? ("can't stand his blah blah... she's too blah blah...")

are humans reali dat dumb?? or are they in only for dat fleeting moment of attraction??
when does blind love decide not to be blind anymore??
is there a time limit to such things or do we go blind/see clearly at will??
why does a couple behave lovey dovey for a while then start arguing over the smallest things soon after?? who has changed? isit either or both of them? or nobody changed in the 1st place, they juz couldn't get their priorites straight? "be still oh my beating heart, for i do not want my beloved to see me blush"?
